Meet Andrea Colegrove, LCSW

You don’t have to keep carrying this on your own.

Mindfulness Therapist in CA

If you know you need to make a change…

Whether you’re tired of fighting the anxiety or worry that’s always threatening to break your “put together” exterior, you feel disconnected in your relationships and unsure how to repair them, or you’re simply struggling to trust that you are, in fact, enough…

…then you’re in the right place.

I’m Andrea: mindfulness therapist, client cheerleader, and (most importantly) fellow human.

In a world where it’s often easier to pretend everything’s okay than let others see the vulnerable parts of you, it’s a privilege to provide a space where your full self—the raw, the hopeful, the unsure—can be freely shared.

My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that, in many ways, I’m just like you: another human living in this world (that’s often hard to live in) who has the professional training and experience (over 10 years!) to support you. I’ll meet you where you are with compassion, offering new perspectives and strategies that can lead to meaningful change.

Who I Work With

My clients are driven, open-minded adults who have accomplished a lot in their lives or are working hard toward accomplishing their goals, but still struggle with feelings of self-doubt or uncertainty. They’re looking for a genuine connection with a therapist who “gets” it—someone they don’t have to overly explain themselves to.

Together, we discover their inner strength and wisdom, learn how to honor those in their relationships and work life, and cultivate the sense of empowerment and confidence that they’ve been missing.

Therapy with me is

  • Collaborative

  • Down-to-earth

  • Compassionate

  • Approachable

Therapy with me is not

  • Stuffy

  • Awkward

  • One-size-fits-all

  • Rigid

Mindfulness? What’s that?

While the word mindfulness can bring up a lot of preconceived concepts or images, at its core, mindfulness is simply about learning how to ground yourself in the present moment.

Through breathing or grounding exercises, new self-care routines, and other means, you can learn how to tune into the messages your body is sending you (they’re there—believe me!), respond in slower, more intentional ways, and combat feelings of anxiety, disconnection, and self-doubt.

We’ll figure out what mindfulness can look like for you.

A holistic approach

Our mental health is just one aspect of our wellbeing. In our work together, we’ll consider the ways your physical, emotional, and energetic health are also influencing the way that you are feeling. We’ll look at ways to ensure every part of you has what it needs to thrive.
